Important Update Regarding WellFest and COVID-19

As a past participant in Yoga to Conquer Cancer or Spin to Conquer Cancer, we wanted to proactively reach out to you regarding our newest fundraising event, WellFest, as we understand you may have considered signing up.
 
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we know these are very uncertain times. At The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, our fundraising events are crucial to funding the fight against cancer.
 
As a precautionary measure, we have made the difficult decision to postpone WellFest, originally scheduled to take place on June 6, 2020. We are currently in discussions about a new date later in 2020 and will provide more information as and when it is available.

WellFest holds wellness at its core, and so we have made this decision in the best interest of the safety and wellbeing of our participants, volunteers, staff and the wider PMCF community. We continue to closely follow the World Health Organization (WHO), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and our own University Health Network guidelines relating to COVID-19.
 
Even in these times of uncertainty, one thing that remains unwavering is our commitment to conquering cancer in our lifetime. As always, we thank you for partnering with us in our mission.
