A: At this time, WellFest is postponed, and a new date will be announced for 2021 in the coming months. The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation is taking every precaution to ensure we are adhering to all guidelines from WHO, PHAC and our own UHN. Our fundraisers, and the support from participants, donors and sponsors, are critical to continuing our groundbreaking cancer research and care so we can fund our fight to Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime.
A: We will continue to keep participants updated via email, on our website and through The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation social channels.
A: Should you wish, your registration will be rolled forward to the 2021 event. We promise the event will be one you won’t want to miss, and we sincerely hope you will join us!
As you know, cancer – and cancer research – never gets postponed. Our experience is that if someone is unable to take part in an event, their supporters will understand the money they donated will still continue to fund vital cancer research and care at The Princess Margaret.
If you wish to have donations you have received to-date go towards cancer research this year, we will be happy to ensure this happens.
We have also recently launched the Conquer COVID for Cancer Fund, which offers an opportunity to fundraise and support cancer patients and frontline staff who are affected by this pandemic. You may choose to allocate your donations towards this fund, or leave it in the fund you selected when you registered. Please contact us directly at
WellFest@thepmcf.ca if you wish to do this. Finally, if you prefer, you can have your donations fully credited towards your 2021 event.
